RADAR Concerti presenta gli STILL CORNERS. Il duo dream pop britannico arriva il 15 maggio al Circolo Ohibò di Milano. Un appuntamento che sarà la preview ufficiale di #musicismyradar, la rassegna musicale targata RADAR Concerti, che accenderà l’estate milanese con imperdibili appuntamenti.
Sul palco Greg Hughes e Tessa Murray porteranno l’ultimo Slow Air, uscito il 10 agosto 2018 per Wrecking Light Records. L'album è il capitolo più recente del progetto Still Corners, nato nel 2009 ed entrato poco dopo nel roster della celebre casa discografica Sub Pop. Il disco s’inserisce nelle atmosfere sognanti ed eteree del gruppo, capaci di trasportare l’ascoltatore verso i paesaggi sconfinati dell’America occidentale. Sonorità a tratti lugubri, sospese tra slow tempo ed echi dreamy capaci di esaltare i tratti più seducenti della voce di Tessa: “we wanted to hear beautiful guitar and drums and an otherworldliness, something almost indefinable along with a classic song writing vibe. We’re always trying to get the sound we hear inside of ourselves, so we moved fast to avoid our brains getting in the way too much. The name Slow Air evokes the feel of the album to me, steady, eerie and beautiful.” (Tessa Murray)
